New project secured at The Royal Free Hospital.
The project involves the replacement of three old MRI scanners with new equipment and upgrade to M&E services to suit. The new area of works occupies the ground of the Royal Free Hospital building within the MRI department. The proposal includes the internal refurbishment of existing MRI rooms 1 & 2 to suit new replacement 1.5T MRI scanners and the demolition and rebuilding of an existing extension housing MRI 4, a decommissioned 1T MRI, to suit a new 3T MRI scanner. New roof plant is to be located on the roof of the new 3T MRI extension. The works are to be carried out in phases. Phases 1 and 2 are to be carried out in parallel and comprise of the MRI 2 refurbishment and MRI 4 new build works. Our mechanical works involves New AHU, Chiller along with HVAC Domestic and Public Health services. We will also be carrying out new BMS works, Medical gas and new quench ductwork work to the new area.
