Project Update from UAL – Kings Cross
With our internal mechanical and HVAC works progressing well onsite, it was time to for the mechanical plant to be delivered into there final locations at roof level. Due to both the location and surrounding area of the building it made the task all the more interesting given we were unable to lift the plant via a crane. The mechanical plant which included Daikin heat pump condensing units and an IV Produkt air handling unit, was delivered to the loading bay and and carefully transported through the building up to the fourth floor where the light wells were accessible. With the existing glazing removed we were able to form a lifting rig to allow for the plant to be lifted to roof level and moved into there final locations ready for the HVAC services installation to progress.
